Mandisa’s Exhibition
This exhibition was almost silimar to mine, displaying many objects on common. It was overall very interesting and Mandisa made it exciting although she did not have some of the objects on the day

Inga and Phiwe’s Exhibition
I absolutely have no words for the effort put in for this display. It was beautifully presented, intriguing and it reflected how excited and dedicated Inga and Phiwe were for this project

Ofentse, Linda and Thandi’s exhibition
This exhibition was not joint but this images shows all of their work.
Linda’s Exhibition was very nice, she had a number of historical object which one hadn’t seen in a while
Ofentse’s Exhibition was interesting too displaying many ritual and contemporary objects
Thandi made her exhibition so exciting by engaging us throughout her display and also by explaing all her historical objects in detail to all of us… work well done

Ashleigh’s Exhibition
The exhibition on the right is the one in discussion. It had Catholic Wedding Vows, Sugar, Cat eyed sunglasses, a candle, diamond stones, a watch and a vernacular photograph… beautiful work!

Focus Area 3 Main Assignment
Stiletto
This is a high heel shoe, very fashionable and bold… one of my favourite pairs of shoes inspired by modelling and fashion trends purchased in 2017.

This is one of my favourite things on earth. In vernacular it is called impepho but it is also known as incense or sage. This is burnt and used to awaken ansestral spirits into the space you’re in and as odd as some may find this… I absolutely adore it’s smell!

This is an historical object which fits into all categories. A pen was first invented in the 1880s but it is still used to date so it can also be seen as a contemporary and a ritual objecy
